AlterEco's a San Francisco based company who's nationally known for their excellent chocolate concoctions. Their mission is to pioneer a full circle approach to eating, farming, and doing business – and to inspire others to do the same.

Good Taste
With a 15 year history, AlterEco had recently tackled a full rebrand, refining their voice, logo, and packaging to support their ongoing expansion. We worked with them and their design team at Iron Creative to build out three in-depth custom Shopify sites—their direct-to-consumer ecommerce/marketing sites for both the USA and Australian along with their wholesale site for the distribution side of the business.

An Immersive Experience
It was a pleasure working with AlterEcos's bold, colorful and larger-than-life layouts to flesh out a user-experience that was a worthy vehicle for their products. (They were kind enough to send us plenty of samples throughout the project, so we had plenty of first-hand user-testing to work from!) The site features image-based mega menus, a mini-cart checkout flow, store locator and a versatile community section with recipes, blogs, press and more.
