LifeStraw

Home of the original Lifestraw personal water filter, they believe everyone deserves equitable access to safe drinking water. They design beautiful, simple, and functional products that provide the highest protection from unsafe water based on where and how they will be used.

A Balanced Approach
Inventors of the world's best portable water filters, Lifestraw's roots in the outdoor space have grown to encompass all things water filtration. With a goal to find the perfect balance to also support their home products, they sought our services because of our heavy experience in both the outdoors and lifestyle industries. A natural fit, we upgraded them to Shopify Plus, reengineered their architecture, and built out a custom theme for the fully custom design/UX we created. Super crisp, clean, and fast, the new site is running circles around their site's many previous iterations.
03
Immersive Shopping
Lifestraw's former site had built up legacy code over time that was slowing them down and making maintenance unwieldy. On the new build we paid extra attention to the navigation—experimenting with different options to achieve the best overall direction. Subscriptions were equally important and we implemented elegant upsell opportunities to increase their AOV and catapult the brand's online revenue.

Mobile Forward
With many of their products so deeply connected to the world of outdoor enthusiasts, it's only obvious that mobile should come first. Every pixel of the mobile version responds in an adaptive manner that delivers the best possible user-experience for those on the run.

Giving Back
Lifestraw's "Doing Good" section was one of the largest parts of the scope. It's broken down into seven sub-pages for everything from donating safe water, to how they take action, to environmental sustainability, to blog articles. Every section is an immersive journey through long-form pages with rich imagery and easy-to-digest content.
