Established in 1982, Turtle Fur® has been providing a huge variety of top-quality headwear and accessories to outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. Adventure, community, comfort, quality—they advocate an outdoor lifestyle by promoting socially and environmentally conscious living and creating comfortable products for every adventure(r).

Homeward Bound

Turtle Fur hired us to harness our experience in the outdoor industry to take a fresh take on their brand and boost their sales. Setting the right tone for an intuitive shopping experience and getting people familiar with the Turtle Fur brand, we created a clean and fun design that allowed for a graceful balance of their products, their cause, and their voice.

Seeing Double Layers

Turtle Fur has a large catalog of product and seasonal selections is a big part of their strategy. We collaborated with their thoughtful team to ensure products are super easy to find and learn about. Each product page has the ability to call out features and in the ultra-customized admin system chalked with custom fields and seamlessly incorporated app integrations. The filtering capabilities are giant but whittle down variables so you'll never miss a thing.

Turtling? Not quite.

Speed, speed, speed—we built the site to blaze. The Turtle Fur community isn't known for sitting around at their desk, so as long as their service is good, anyone can search and shop all quick like no matter the device.

Outdoor Icons

From product categories, to features, to company values, to washing instructions and more, we created a huge icon set that gives a clean and unified look and feel to the visual language of the site.

Got You Covered

Turtle Fur is so much more than a place to buy a beanie or face mask. They care a great deal about their customers and community. We gave them plenty of room to inform, blog, and tell their story.
